These films are fun, wacky, and wholesome, especially to someone who loves and owns a Dalmatian themselves.

Apparently, someone laboriously counted and calculated the number of spots in 101 Dalmatians, and they came to the conclusion that there are 6,469,952!

Dodie Smith, the author of the book that inspired both films, had nine Damatians!

The birth of the fifteen puppies in the film also happened in her own life…

Speaking of the movie, we have a confession to make, the dogs in the animated movie are actually gray and not black!

Animators felt that white would have looked too bright on screen and wouldn’t have meshed well with the background in the scenes that involve snow. We suppose we’ll have to alter some of these names to suit gray dogs and not black dogs.
