Claudia Conway, the daughter of former Donald Trump adviser Kellyanne Conway, has broken her social media silence after several weeks to wish her younger sister a happy birthday.
Kellyanne Conway is a former pollster who rose to national prominence as the manager of Trump's successful 2016 presidential campaign, later transitioning to a senior adviser role in the Trump White House. She has also developed a reputation as a Trump media surrogate, known for defending his many claims and stances across various news outlets.
Claudia Conway and her father, Lincoln Project co-founder George Conway, emerged in 2020 as vocal critics of Trump and his presidency, despite Kellyanne Conway's position in the onetime real estate mogul's administration.
Over the years, and throughout a tumultuous period in the relationship with her mother, Claudia Conway has remained vocally opposed to the former president and many conservative political pursuits, including 2022's overturning of Roe v. Wade.
However, Claudia Conway, 19, shared a pair of heartwarming posts about more personal matters on Tuesday, as she celebrated her younger sister Charlotte Conway's birthday.
In one post, which showed her posing alongside her sibling, Claudia Conway wrote: "Little sissy is 16."
A follow-up post showed the big sister embracing her younger sibling as a baby. "[Please] stop growing," she captioned the adorable snapshot.
While known for being outspoken, Claudia Conway—who revealed back in 2021 that she is on good terms with her mother, despite their political differences—has kept a relatively low profile on social media in recent months. Her last post on her Instagram grid was a loving tribute to her late grandmother in early December.
Over on X, formerly Twitter, her most recent post was on January 6, when she accused President Joe Biden of "hypocrisy" over his speech on the third anniversary of the January 6, 2021 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol.

Three years ago, a violent mob of Trump supporters stormed the building in Washington, D.C. in an attempt to stop Congress certifying the result of the 2020 election and the victory of Biden. The then president baselessly said that the election had been stolen from him via widespread fraud.
In August 2023, Trump was indicted on four counts by the Department of Justice in relation to the riot, including conspiracy to defraud the United States; conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding; obstruction of and attempt to obstruct an official proceeding; and conspiracy against rights. Trump has pled not guilty and has said that the case against him is politically motivated.
Starting his campaign for reelection in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania, earlier this year, Biden delivered a speech in which he called out his predecessor Trump and those involved in the riots. "The topic of my speech today is deadly serious, and I think it needs to be made at the outset of this campaign," Biden told supporters.
Figures on both sides of the political aisle and netizens expressed their opinions on Biden's comments, with some calling it "the best speech ever" and others branding it a "doomer speech."
Claudia Conway showed where she stood on the matter, when she wrote on X the day after the speech that there was "lots of hypocrisy coming from Mr. Biden throughout his address yesterday. '..violence is never ever acceptable.'"
While Claudia Conway did not specify how Biden's purported hypocrisy applied in this case, the president has been criticized for supporting Israel in its conflict with Hamas, and the aid provided to Ukraine amid its long-running war with Russia.
The Palestinian civilian death toll and images of children dead in the rubble of bombed buildings have resulted in mounting international calls for a ceasefire and increased pressure on Biden to take a tougher line on Israel.
Despite the increasing condemnation over civilian deaths and demands for a ceasefire, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has repeatedly said the army will continue its offensive to destroy Hamas, bring home the remaining hostages and stop Gaza from posing a threat to his country.
