Dennis was born on October 3rd, 1953 to David and Mary (nee Hefty, later Mary Blood) Parks in Lansing, MI, where he was raised. He graduated from Lansing Eastern High School in 1971 where he played basketball and baseball, winning the Diamond Classic his senior year. He earned his degree from Central Michigan University, where he also played basketball, and was inducted into the CMU Hall of Fame alongside his 1975 teammates, after winning the MAC Championship and advancing to the NCAA tournament Sweet 16. Born on July 24, 1931, in Kokomo, IN, to the late Gladys (Drake) and Cleo Adams. Rosemary was a proud graduate of Kokomo High School and Indiana University. A gifted pianist, she generously shared her musical talents as the church organist at the First Presbyterian Church in Kokomo, where she and her late husband, Herbert Walker, were devoted members. In lieu of flowers, Rosalie requested donations for the purchase of a Memorial Bench to be placed in the Lincoln Brick Memorial Park in Grand Ledge, along with a living memorial tree.
